Urgent: Take Action Against Devastating Proposed
Cuts to California HIV/AIDS Programs
STOP THE HIV CUTS rally APLA Executive Director Craig E. Thompson in Hollywood on June 5, addressing a rally to protest the state’s proposed budget cuts for funding HIV/AIDS prevention and care.

California lawmakers are now considering a wide-ranging proposal to eliminate general funding for virtually all of California’s life-saving HIV/AIDS care, treatment and prevention programs from the state's upcoming budget.

More than $80 million in cuts would decimate life-saving HIV prevention work and endanger thousands of low-income Californians who depend on the state for their HIV drug therapy, housing and other vital resources.

Help stop the cuts! Here's an easy way to take action now:

Send a message to the California legislature and the governor via our "In the Loop" Action Alert network now!
