Walk
Los Angeles - 2005
A diverse and dedicated crowd of more than 26,000 people turned
out today for AIDS Walk Los Angeles, which benefits APLA and 16
other local HIV/AIDS organizations. This year, APLA will also provide
cash grants from the Walk fundraising to three HIV/AIDS organizations
on the Gulf Coast. We want to thank all of our walkers, teams and
corporate sponsors for their amazing support.
In light of Katrina’s devastation, AIDS Project Los Angeles
will for the first time extend its annual grant process to include
vital organizations serving people with HIV/AIDS in regions impacted
by this disaster, including:
