TO ENTER : "WEHO Halloween Costume Carnaval 2006 - Crossfire Roadster Giveaway" ("Sweepstakes") starts at 12:00:01 A.M., PT on 10/16/06 and ends at 11:59:59 P.M, PT on 11/30/06. There are two ways to enter: (A) Between 12:00 A.M., PT on 10/16/06 and 11:59:59 P.M, PT on 10/31/06, you may enter by visiting www.halloweenwesthollywood.com and clicking on the "Crossfire® Roadster Giveaway" link which will bring you to the AIDS Project of Los Angeles web site. After you have completed the information requested on that site, you will be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes. NOTE: Although your contribution to this worthy cause will be appreciated, you can choose to enter without making a contribution. Whether or not you make a contribution, will not affect your chances of winning. Limit: One entry per day between 10/16/06 and 10/31/06 per person regardless of email address; or, (B) You may also enter by visiting the "Chrysler®-Jeep®-Dodge®" Booth on Halloween, 10/31/06, and have a picture of you or you and a friend(s) taken and receive a Crossfire Roadster Giveaway card containing your Photo ID Code Number. Then, between 11/1/06 and 11/30/06, go to www.weho.pixelpixs.com, enter your Photo ID Code Number, and register for the Sweepstakes by completing the requested information including the survey questions. After you have submitted the requested information, you will be able to select to enter the Sweepstakes, view your photo, and email a copy of your photo along with a personal message to three friends. Limit: One (1) Booth entry per person regardless of email address.
RANDOM DRAWING & ODDS OF WINNING: On or about 12/15/06, a random drawing will be held to select the potential Grand Prize Winner ("Winner"). The drawing will be conducted by Mercury Promotions & Fulfillment ("Mercury”), an independent judging agency, from among the total number of all eligible entries received regardless of method of entry. Mercury's decisions will be final in all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes. The potential Winner will be notified by phone and/or mail on or about 12/20/06. The potential Winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Compliance (including his/her Social Security Number as required by law for income tax purposes) and a Publicity/Liability Release, except where prohibited by law. Failure to sign and return these documents by the return date specified in the prize notification letter will result in forfeiture of Prize and selection of an alternate potential Winner. The odds of winning are dependent upon the total number of all eligible entries received.
ELIGIBILITY: All legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia, 21 years and older, are eligible to enter the Sweepstakes except persons who are officers, directors, or employees (and members of household or their immediate family, i.e. spouse, parent, child, or sibling and their household members) of DaimlerChrysler Motors Company LLC ("Sponsor"); its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, including Mercury; prize providers and other individuals/entities associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter or win.
GRAND PRIZE (1): 2005 Crossfire Roadster. (MSRP: $35,110). Prize Restrictions: Winner must take delivery of vehicle as determined by Sponsor. Winner is solely responsible for sales tax (where legal), registration, title, tags and license fees, insurance and all other unspecified costs involved in claiming, registering or using the vehicle. Winner is solely responsible for all costs associated with option/upgrade packages not on vehicle as delivered, and color of vehicle is as solely determined by Sponsor. Vehicle will only be released to Winner on Winner's providing proof of current valid driver's license and current automobile insurance. Any expenses not stated, including all federal, state and local income, use or other taxes are the sole responsibility of Winner. If Winner does not accept vehicle delivery within 30 days of notification that vehicle can be delivered, Prize may be forfeited and another potential Winner selected. Prize is not redeemable for cash; nor may it be transferred or substituted except by Sponsor with one of equal or greater value.
INTERNET: Sponsor, et al. are not responsible for interrupted or unavailable network server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or computer transmissions or jumbled, scrambled or misdirected entries or transmissions, or for phone, electrical, network, computer hardware or software or program malfunctions, failures or difficulties or for other errors, omissions, interruptions, or deletions of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic or for any damage to any person’s computer related to participating in the promotion. Sponsor, et al. are not responsible for illegible, unintelligible, late, lost or stolen entries or incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the promotion or by any technical or human errors which may occur in the processing of any entries in this promotion. Any entrant who attempts to play with multiple email addresses, under multiple identities or uses any other device or artifice to play multiple times or to interfere with the proper play of this Promotion, will be disqualified from participation in the Promotion. All Federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. All disputes arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes will be resolved individually, and without resort to class action, exclusively by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan (Southern Division) of the appropriate Michigan State Court located in Macomb County, Michigan. Should there be a conflict between the laws of the State of Michigan and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favor of the laws of the State of Michigan. All judgments or awards shall be limited to actual incurred out-of-pocket expenses (excluding attorneys' fees) associated with participation in this Sweepstakes and shall not include any indirect, punitive, incidental and/or consequential damages.
