Mental
Health Services at AIDS Project
Los Angeles offer a broad range of services,
including short-term individual, couples and
family counseling, addictive behaviors
counseling, on-call clinician hours, support groups (both closed
and drop-in), long-term therapy with
volunteer licensed therapists and referrals
to HIV/AIDS-sensitive mental health
providers. All services are available in English and Spanish and
provided in a culturally competent manner.

The Pacific Center
The Pacific Center Program at AIDS
Project Los Angeles recruits volunteer
licensed marriage and family therapists,
psychologists, clinical social workers
and psychiatrists to provide free weekly
psychotherapy in the therapist's private practice
office to a person living with HIV disease.
Long-term therapy is available to registered clients of APLA
who have completed a mental health intake
and assessment and who meet financial criteria. For more information,

West Hollywood Services
APLA mental health clinicians offer services on site in the city of West Hollywood for eligible persons.

LINKS Program
The LINKS Program at AIDS Project Los Angeles provides one-on-one counseling to explore the impact of substance abuse and sexual risk on your health. Our LINKS prevention specialist will work with you to identify the feelings and experiences that may contribut to your high risk behaviors. The program will also help you develop coping skills to improve your outlook and prepare you to live well. For more information, please call 213.201.1337.
Support Groups
For Ongoing Groups: Open to registered
clients of APLA who have completed a
mental health intake and assessment.
For Drop-In Groups: APLA registration
is not required. Same-day walk-ins are
allowed.

On-Call Clinician
No APLA registration is required. No
intake or assessment is required. Same-day walk-ins and phone-ins
are available during on-call hours: Monday through Friday from
10:00 am to Noon. Please call 213.201.1621 to access the on-call
clinician.
