WHAT: More than 250 community members are expected to attend this second annual summit, which will explore the unique experiences of women living with HIV/AIDS. Participants will discuss woman-specific concerns, including pregnancy and parenting; relationships and disclosure; and domestic violence. The summit will also feature an update on the latest HIV/AIDS treatment options for women; a candid examination of mental health challenges for women living with HIV/AIDS; and a dynamic discussion on community mobilization surrounding woman-specific advocacy, activism and policy change.
All sessions will be offered in English and Spanish.
