JEWEL TO PERFORM AT SUMMER PARTY™ FOR AIDS PROJECT LOS ANGELES

Los Angeles, CA, July 14, 2004 –APLA’s Summer Party™ is set to re-launch at a new location, Paramount Studios, on Saturday, July 24 from 7 P.M. until midnight. Singer/songwriter Jewel has signed on to headline a musical bill to include Robi Draco Rosa and Paul Lekakis.

Master promoter Tom Whitman will present “Summer Nights T-Dance” with DJ Joe Gauthreaux on one of three dance floors. Toyota Scion, a new line of vehicles targeting younger consumers, will be giving away a two-year lease on the new TC Coupe to a lucky winner that night. Approximately 2,000 guests are expected to attend.

Summer Party™ will feature complete buffet food stations, full bars, a second disco stage, a comedy stage led by Alison Arngrim of TV’s “Little House on the Prairie,” country western dancing, the largest outdoor casino in California, a silent auction, a VIP lounge with lush décor and secured parking. Donna Mills of TV’s “Knots Landing” will be on hand, wearing The Hollywood Graffiti Gown™, a 24 year-long philanthropic project for AIDS fundraising conceived and created by Emmy-nominated designers Jerry Skeels and Randy McLaughlin of Jeran Design.

Limited VIP tickets at $150 include an open bar in the VIP area and parking on the main lot. General Admission tickets are $85 and offer parking at Paramount’s structure at Gower and Waring.
