AIDS PROJECT LOS ANGELES 18th ANNUAL SUMMER PARTY SET FOR SATURDAY, JULY 27 ON THE BACKLOT AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS
Backlot Party Features Food Tastings from 80 of LA’s Best Restaurants, A Comedy Stage, A Huge Silent Auction, An Outdoor Casino, And Country & Western and Disco Dance Floors
Los Angeles, April 24, 2002 – AIDS Project
Los Angeles (APLA) and guests will be heading to
Universal Studios Backlot for the 18th Annual Summer
Party on Saturday, July 27, 2002. The Summer Party
features food tastings, a Comedy Stage hosted by
Alison Arngrim, an Outdoor Casino, three dance floors – Disco,
Hip-Hop/Latin and Country - and a huge Silent Auction.
Allyson Thurber, from The Lobster in Santa Monica,
is the Chair of the restaurant area. Proceeds from
the Summer Party will help fund services that APLA
provides to men, women and children living with HIV
and AIDS. Tickets are $65 dollars in advance and
