For Immediate Release
We need your immediate assistance to change the stalemate in Congress. Please use the toll free number to call your Representative today (10/10) or Friday (10/11) and ask them to:
The nation is in a manufactured financial crisis and headed towards a possible additional fiscal crisis. Both crises endanger the federal programs that people with HIV depend on for their medical care, prescriptions, housing assistance, and nutrition support, just to name a few.
We need all constituents to contact their Representative this week. Your call is needed no matter how your Member of Congress voted. If your Representative favors a clean funding bill without conditions, it helps them to be able to cite strong constituent support. If he/she voted for the shutdown, you need to hold them accountable. Your call reinforces the message coming from multiple national polls that voters oppose these tactics.
Take action now. Thank you!
