La Toya Jackson chats about 'Celebrity Apprentice' and 'DWTS'

La Toya Jackson, international pop star and sister of Michael Jackson, appeared on LIVE With Regis and Kelly to talk about her upcoming appearance on The Celebrity Apprentice and her decision to turn down Dancing With the Stars. In the revealing interview, Jackson admitted that she was a big fan of reality TV "because it's real."

La Toya and The Celebrity Apprentice:

La Toya Jackson was born into America’s Royal Family of Music, and in just two days she competes on the new season of The Celebrity Apprentice, in hopes of raising money for AIDS Project Los Angeles. When Kelly Ripa asked La Toya about her experiences on the show, she replied, "It's not intimidating to me, but you can get quite nervous in the boardroom." Jackson went on to explain that she didn’t necessarily get along with the other celebrities. "I get along with everybody, but people have their different personalities and they display them," she said today on LIVE. Fans can catch La Toya Jackson on The Celebrity Apprentice, which premieres this Sunday at 9/8c on NBC.

La Toya and Dancing With the Stars:

During her LIVE interview, La Toya Jackson revealed that she has been asked many times to be a contestant on Dancing With the Stars, as recently as this current season. "I love the long gowns and the glitter," she said of DWTS. Jackson went on to say that she watches the show all the time with her mother and thinks it's wonderful. She explained that her tight schedule keeps her too busy compete, but that she wouldn’t rule out competing on a future season. Dancing With the Stars premieres at 8/7c on Monday, March 21st on ABC.
