Tony winners Tyne Daly, John Lloyd Young and Donna McKechnie are among the stars reprising past performances in "Original Cast," the 26th annual S.T.A.G.E. AIDS benefit show on May 1 at Cal State Los Angeles.
The Southland Theatre Artists Goodwill Event will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex.
Daly starred as Mama Rose in the 1989 Broadway revival of "Gypsy." Young was Frankie Valli in the original 2005 Broadway production of "Jersey Boys," and McKechnie played Cassie in the original 1975 production of "A Chorus Line."
The lineup also will include Carole Cook, Ronald Dennis, Nancy Dussault, David Engel, Davis Gaines, Betty Garrett, Ilene Graff, Jonathan Hadary, Bill Hutton, Julie Johnson, Dale Kristien, Jane Lanier, Michele Lee, Vicki Lewis, Melissa Manchester, Pat Marshall, Sharon McNight, Patricia Morison, Karen Morrow, Valarie Pettiford, Charlotte Rae, Joan Ryan, Sally Struthers and Constance Towers.
"Original Cast" will be produced and directed by David Galligan.
S.T.A.G.E. has raised millions of dollars for HIV/AIDS organizations in Southern California. Net proceeds from this year's show will benefit AIDS Project Los Angeles.
