Ron Dennis, David Engel, Davis Gaines, Ilene Graff, and Jane Lanier have been added to the roster of performers taking part in The 26th Annual Southland Theatre Artists' Goodwill Event, Original Cast, to be presented at the the Luckman Fine Arts Complex on the campus of Cal State LA on Saturday, May 1 at 7:30pm. Proceeds will benefit AIDS Project Los Angeles.
As previously announced, Carole Cook, Tyne Daly, Nancy Dussault, Betty Garrett, Jonathan Hadary, Bill Hutton, Julie Johnson, Dale Kristien, Michele Lee, Vicki Lewis, Melissa Manchester, Pat Marshall, Donna McKechnie, Sharon McNight, Patricia Morison, Karen Morrow, Valarie Pettiford, Charlotte Rae, Joan Ryan, Sally Struthers, Constance Towers, and John Lloyd Young will be also be featured.
The event will be directed by David Galligan with musical direction by John McDaniel and choreography by Lee Martine and Dan Mojica. It will feature stars recreating the roles they made famous, with highlights including Daly and Hadary performing from Gypsy, Manchester performing from Song & Dance, McKechnie performing from both A Chorus Line and Company, and Struthers and Johnson performing from Always...Patsy Cline.
