Bequest
Many of our supporters make charitable gifts by naming APLA as a beneficiary
in their wills. A bequest is a written statement in your will that specific
assets, or a percentage of the estate, will be transferred to APLA. A
bequest allows you to establish a legacy and does not require you to part with
assets during your lifetime.
Life Insurance Gift
You can choose to name APLA as a beneficiary to receive all or a portion of your life insurance policy proceeds at death. You are entitled to a charitable tax deduction equal to the cash surrender value of the property and any future premiums paid if APLA is named as the owner and beneficiary of the policy.
Stock Gift
You can choose to donate appreciated securities (Stocks, bonds and Mutual
funds) to APLA. This donation will entitle you to a deduction of the full
value of the security.
If you are considering making a charitable bequest to APLA, please
