From available PwP trainings, existing programs and research, to information on promising prevention strategies and a bulletin board for community networking and troubleshooting, this website is meant to be a clearinghouse for those seeking to implement or improve their PwP program.

ABOUT US
The Cornerstone Initiative is comprised of three staff members, including a program manager, a prevention program specialist, and an evaluation training specialist. The Cornerstone Initiative staff have extensive programmatic and evaluation experience. The Cornerstone Initiative is also supported by the administrative, human resources, government affairs, media and marketing, client services, information systems, executive, volunteer resources, finance, and development staff of AIDS Project Los Angeles.

Who We Are
Paul Michael Sánchez, B.A. is a Prevention Program Specialist with APLA’s Cornerstone Initiative. He provides technical assistance and training in developing HIV prevention with positives programs for agencies serving communities of color. A graduate of California State University in Fullerton, Paul has spent most of his professional career working in community service program development. He has served as program coordinator for the City of Irvine Youth and Senior Services programs as well as AIDS Services Foundation, Orange County. psanchez@apla.org

About AIDS Project Los Angeles
The Cornerstone Initiative is part of AIDS Project Los Angeles, one of the nation’s largest AIDS service organizations. AIDS Project Los Angeles provides direct services to more than 10,000 men, women and children living with HIV and AIDS in Los Angeles County. Services include prevention education, a food bank, professional dental care, housing assistance, mental health counseling, women’s services and case management.
