SPECIAL REPORTS »
As it is stated in our Mission Statement, “Acción Mutua/Shared Action is committed to reciprocal partnerships and equitable exchange of knowledge and expertise essential to expanding capacity.”
We believe that the work that has resulted from our collaborations with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), other capacity building programs, and capacity building recipients are a great testament of not only the hard work that as a community we can accomplish but of how documenting this work can further expand the knowledge in the HIV field.
We are especially proud to showcase two reports that are the product of two of our collaborations. These reports highlight successes with two of the CDC’s Effective Behavioral Interventions (EBI). The first report documents a summit on Community Promise put together in collaboration with the CDC. The second report is based on the adaptation process of an EBI, SISTA, for incarcerated women which was implemented by an agency with which have worked closely.
